Portraits of People & Persons. According to Dutch Copyright Laws, a Portrait is a “Recognisable Image of a Person”. I believe a Portrait is so much more than that! following my motto, that every Image doesn’t have to be beautiful but needs to tell a Story, I believe Portraits need to tell Stories about People. Stories about Specific People. Stories on who they are, what they do in life, what they stand for, what thrives them. And most of all, what they want to leave behind for this world!
This means every single portrait needs to be a unique story on that particular person in one shot and one shot only, since Portraits are usually Published one Image Only. That one shot should tell a tale, should cause an emotional respons, should cause an understanding on who this person is and why she/he is there, right in front of you.
If you’re in need of a Portrait of a Specific Person or Group of Persons, please don’t hesitate to contact me to discus Options and Deadlines. Send me an E-mail Here! I’ll get back to you as soon as humanly possible!
