London Underground #1
“London Underground Maintenance Workshop“.
Made in 1991 on Analog Black & White Film in a Victoria Line maintenance shop in north London. I was in London, to visit a friend in Kennington met earlier in Paris. On one of the days of that week I was photographing in a tube station, when I was approached by the driver of a train that had just arrived. He invited me to join the rest of the line in the driver’s cab. After shunting his “vehicle”, I was given a tour of the adjacent workshop. Had to “watch out” for that cable with more than 900 volts across the floor. Up to ten (10) numbered prints.
Printed by PLM on 3mm thick Dibond and available 120 x 90 cm. With certificate of authenticity. Maximum number of Prints: 10.
