As of recent years an increasing amount of political, economical and military mayhem is going on, started with occupation by the Russians of Crimea and Eastern Parts of Ukraine. Since the election and inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States,  things are speeding up. War in Israel & Gaza, former Filipino President getting arrested by ICC, Civil Mayhem in Serbia, and so on, and so on. All situations share a immense, decreasing Freedom of Press and an increase of Propaganda, Fake News, Blogs with just Opinion instead of Facts. Instead of trustworthy, editorial stories, The Public gets Rubbish on which it cannot bases their lives. 

From a Visual StoryTeller / Documentary Photographers point of view, it surprises me, how much seems to be forgotten about Oppression & Absent, Trustworthy Information due to a Lack of Press Freedom, which is  mostly initiated by Right Wing Politicians, who are eager to control the masses.

So, I thought to give a little flashback to: “not so very long ago”, in Central Europe, where an entire government controlled every aspect of life of it’s population’s life.
