London Underground, a.k.a. “The Tubes”, 1989. In total approx. 25 Images (in total, a selection below), shot on Analog, Kodak T-Max, Black & White Film, using a Minolta X700. A Series of Early, Documentary Photo’s, most of them hidden in My Archives for the past 37 years and recently discovered again. After Scanning & Digitally Restoring them, these images not only give an insight in Urban Transport in London, UK, during the 1980’s; it was also one of the first Underground & Subway Series I made, aged only 24 years. Since then The Tubes, Undergrounds, Subways, Metro’s, U-Bahn’s or whatever they are called locally, kept fascinating me. By: Guido Koppes (www.guidokoppes.nl).
